LIFE IN COCHIN

I saw that it is almost two years since I posted anything.... time flies so fast.... may be because you have no set schedule in semi retired life... yes I am semi retired. I left my regular office job almost a year ago and work now only from home. This also helped me to accept my wife's prompting to move to our house in Cochin, the queen of the Arabian Sea ( or is it "ex queen" with the garbage strewn around?). We moved here in November 2008.

I have started to miss the hustle abd bustle of Hyderabad where we lived for almost 37 years. What I also miss are my friends. I have a lot of relatives in Cochin. But relatives are relatives and friends are friends. I think friends are more useful in emergencies. You always keep a distance from the relatives. With friends you are more open.

What do I write about life in Cochin? Nothing great. Kerala is a good place to visit. But to stay permanently for a person who lived his adult life outside.... it is a lot of adjustments. Let us see how we fare. look out for my further postings.
